Cancun Hotel Rates

Hotels are an essential part of any trip to Cancun. So before booking a hotel it is advisable to check the rates and your budget as the rates vary so much throughout the year that it is not uncommon to pay $500 a night for a room that was just $100 the night before. Cancun has an extensive range of hotels for every taste, budget, and preference.

Cancun hotel rates depend principally on the location and the range of amenities, services and facilities offered. The rates may also vary depending upon the season, time of booking, and the duration of stay. There are a good number of all-inclusive hotels, such as Avalon Grand Cancun, Avalon Baccara, Cozumel Palace, Royal Solaris and Crown Paradise Club, which offer everything from accommodation, airport transfers, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks, baby clubs and entertainment options including a wide range of sports. Most of these luxury all-inclusive hotels are located within the Hotel Zone. The rates can vary from $ 75 - $ 350. All-inclusive rates are calculated per person, per day.

Cheap and discount hotels are a great choice for the budget conscious traveler. The rates offered by budget hotels can start as low as $45 per night. Most of the hotels offer flexible rate options rather than sticking on to a single fixed rate. Tariffs generally rise during the summer and spring break. The room rates are applicable per night based on double occupancy (adults). An extra person in the room is charged separately. Children up to 7 years of age can accompany their parents free of charge. However $ 25 - $30 is charged for children aged 7-12. Non smoking rooms have different tariffs. In some hotels pets are allowed at an extra charge.

There are many travel agents and websites that have partnered with hotels in Cancun to offer the best possible rates to their customers. However, these hotel rates are subject to change without prior notice.
