When in Mexico, spend a day at Xcaret - Cancun Natural History Amazing Park

If you love nature and want to know the history of Mexico in Cancun, Xcaret tour, an hour south of.

Having lived near the town of Playa del Carmen and has worked as an illustrator for this company years ago, I spent much time there, and it is breathtaking.

What exactly is this place? It is a combination of zoo, aviary, butterfly garden, amusement park (not working) and open-air museum of natural history and much more. Located in the jungles of Mexico, boardA bus to the main corridor Cancun-Tulum road and takes you down a lush jungle road in the park is a large complex so expect to spend all day there, and the use of large amounts of sunscreen to avoid burning while.

Hiking is Xcaret in the main building, holds a gift shop and dioramas of the most important Mayan ruin sites, you see a snack area. Sometimes there are events that happen in this building, the entrance to the park. Make sure you go to the giftShop there are many beautiful things nature-related for sale. You may even find something with my artwork on it have been so many of my projects for new used items. There are posters (which I have), which was before me and are still being sold that are incredibly original and beautiful work. This is not your average gift shop in bad taste, is impressive.

When you walk in the park itself, you are in a maze of exhibits and attractions, from walking through a large tissue sectionthe Mexican jungle. There is an underground river cave, where you can snorkel. When you get to the park early, you can at this without being too big in a lot to do. E 'surreal to be played by the real water through an underground cave that winds around the park. Very relaxing. This is a great way to cool off when the sun can be hot in the jungle.

There is a riding school. The horses are magnificent creatures Spanish origin, with the long mane and elegantStature. But when I was there, were slow and did what the horse had done before them. If you like working independently gallop on the beach want to forget. They follow each other in line one day after day, the horses are trained path. It's fine if you're afraid to drive and want to try, there is a high probability that none of them will. The ones I saw were soft, not hyper.

Both the zoo and aviary are wonderful animals that are indigenousYucatan Peninsula, such as jaguars, flamingos, parrots of various sizes and colors, harpy, spider monkeys, and more. All animals in the park are well catered for. Many live in very complex, natural environments. The Jaguars are on an island, the tourists kept separated by a deep ravine. You can see them run away without fear of them, how they live their lives free from the bar. This is a pretty big setup.

The lagoon is a scenic area in the Caribbean where FeedsYou can snorkel or swim with the dolphins. There are hammocks in peace, for those who dive into it. This area is so colorful, everything around with the deep turquoise sea, flowers and palm trees. It 'really complete the tropical experience. Stop and rest there.

In theater, there are several shows worth seeing. These, dancers actors and musicians in all their heart and soul of their performances. For example, when I was there, had a showcasethe different regional dances of Mexico, along with the costumes typical of each area. E 'was spectacular. There are evening performances on various topics, professionally lit for the full effect of the night. It 's all the family fun and great education.

When you stop at the park, do not forget the numerous restaurants and snack area. In Mexico, the waiter comes out of the way in a big way to take care of you, so tip them well. These jobs are in high demand, so thattaken very seriously. If you want quality service, try the restaurant at sea, the scenery and good food.

Since my time at Xcaret years certainly has become even more since then. What was added is certainly innovative and informative. This device is pure class, they know how to take care of their customers and treat them well. Make sure you see all the sights and exhibitions. You walk away with a better understanding and appreciation of the Yucatan PeninsulaPeninsula, its history and nature.
